THE PERSON BEHIND MONDAY HOUSE

Hi, I’m Alia.

I’m naturally curious about how things work, and accounting is no different. I don’t like fixing the same problem twice, so when something doesn’t make sense, I look beyond the transaction to figure out why.

Over the 12+ years I’ve spent in accounting, I’ve worked at a lot of different angles—from managing the everyday details to overseeing the bigger financial picture. I’ve worked with growing businesses, multiple entities, complex reconciliations, reporting, job costing, and financial processes that needed a little—or sometimes a lot—of untangling.

That experience has taught me how to recognize what’s working, what isn’t, and when the numbers are telling us there’s something worth looking into.

I know bookkeeping isn’t why most of you got into business. Weirdly, I like it. I’ll handle the accounting work, but I’m also going to help you understand what the numbers mean.
